The Jewish Nevada, Solidarity Mission to Israel (the “Trip”) is scheduled between May 27-May 31. By digitally signing below, you affirm the following:
You acknowledge that you have read and understand the responsibilities and commitment incumbent upon you as a participant in the upcoming Jewish Nevada’s Solidarity Mission to Israel, as stated below.
Responsibilities and Commitment from all participants to join
All participants must arrive in Israel no later than Monday, May 27, at 3 pm. All participants must have a valid passport with an expiration date after November 15, 2024. Due to the mission's nature and duration, it is recommended that all participants stay with the group for the entire mission.
Travel Warnings
You further attest that you are a United States citizen. You understand and acknowledge that you are traveling to an active conflict zone. You acknowledge that you have read and understand the contents of the current “Travel Warning” issued by the U. S. Department of State to American citizens on the general security environment in Israel, including Jerusalem, the West Bank, and the Gaza Strip and the threats to U.S. interests in those locations. You acknowledge that the current Travel Warning is subject to change at any time by the Department of State and your agreement to this Disclaimer, Release and Indemnification will remain in full force and effect in the event of any changes to the Travel Warning. Despite the Travel Warning, and the dangers it warns of, you are participating in this Trip because you have made a conscious decision to do so. You understand that most travel companies are not providing trip insurance due to the current travel warning.
Liability of the Jewish Nevada
You hereby acknowledge that Jewish Nevada, its Boards of Directors, officers, agents, employees, and representatives, and all individuals and organizations that provide financial support directly or indirectly to Jewish Nevada shall not be liable or responsible for any loss or damage (including death) which you may sustain to your person or property. It is understood and agreed that Jewish Nevada assumes no responsibility whatsoever and shall not be held responsible for the operation and management of any facilities that may be employed in connection with the Solidarity Mission to Israel nor for any damage or claim arising therefrom or in connection therewith.
Cancelations and Refunds
You attest to the policy written on our website at the time of application that cancelations can be made for a 75% refund no later than May 1, 2024. Jewish Nevada understands the situation in Israel is fluid. Should the mission be canceled by Jewish Nevada, refunds will be provided less transaction fees that may be incurred depending on your original payment method. Jewish Nevada has the right to hold a portion of funds due to costs incurred at the time of cancelation. Please see below for the complete payment terms and refund schedule.
Consultation with Physician
You attest that you have consulted a physician of your own choice and have been advised by said physician that you are in good health and do not suffer from any physical or mental ailment or disability, which would make your travel and/or participation on the Trip to Israel hazardous, unwise, unwarranted or a potential source of danger to you or to others you may travel with or participate with on the Jewish Nevada Solidarity Mission to Israel. All participants are responsible for arranging medical insurance on their own behalf.
Itinerary
You hereby agree that all published Itineraries are subject to change. Jewish Nevada has the right to make full adjustments to itineraries based on the availability of speakers and the safety of all participants.
Pre and Post Mission
In the event you decide to start and/or extend your stay in Israel before and/or beyond the term of the Trip you acknowledge that Jewish Nevada assumes no responsibility whatsoever, and shall not be held responsible, for your actions and safety during such time.
Understanding of Waiver
Declaration: Having read this waiver and knowing these facts and in consideration of your participation, I, for myself, my heirs, assigns, and anyone entitled to act on my behalf, waive and release Jewish Nevada, its Boards of Governors, officers, agents, employees and representatives, and all individuals and organizations that provide financial support directly or indirectly to Jewish Nevada and all their agents, representatives and successors from all claims and liabilities of any kind arising out of my participation in this program even though that liability may arise out of negligence or carelessness on the part of persons named in this waiver.
By typing your name below, you hereby acknowledge that you have read and understood this waiver and permission agreement and agree to be bound by its terms and conditions.
