Getting to Know You

  • The Early Bird rate of $4,000 until May 1.Beginning May 2, the regular rate is $5,000.

Photo Release/Photography

I hereby grant the permission, without reservation, to Jewish Nevada to take and to use photographs and/or sound/image recordings of me, to describe and to use the same for promotion of good will, public education, and/or fundraising and other related activities of the Federation, and I waive any right to inspect or approve the photograph(s) or finished version(s) of works, including website, incorporating the photograph(s).

I release Federation, its officers, trustees, agents, employees, independent contractors, licensees, and assignees (including photographers) from all claims that I may have or might have, for any cause of action arising out of taking and/or use of the photographs and/or any sound/image recordings, and/or description of the same, be it blurring, distortion, alteration, optical illusion, or use of composite form whether intentional or otherwise, that may occur or be produced in taking of photographs, or any processing toward the completion of the finished product, unless it can be shown that they and the publication thereof were maliciously caused, produced, and published solely for the purpose of subjecting me to conspicuous ridicule, scandal, reproach, scorn, and indignity.

I recognize that Federation owns the copyright (or may apply for copyright) of these photographs and other works and creations, and I hereby waive any claims I may have based on any usage of the photographs or works derived therefrom in any form, whether it be printed, projected, televised, or transmitted via the web, or/and at any time, be it in the present or in the future, including, but not limited to claims for either invasions of privacy or libel.

I am of full age and competent to sign this release. I agree that this release shall be binding on legal representatives, my heirs, assigns, and me. I have read this release and I fully understand its contents.

Jewish Nevada: Solidarity Mission to Israel Disclaimer, Release, and Indemnification Agreement

The Jewish Nevada, Solidarity Mission to Israel (the “Trip”) is scheduled between May 27-May 31. By digitally signing below, you affirm the following:

 You acknowledge that you have read and understand the responsibilities and commitment incumbent upon you as a participant in the upcoming Jewish Nevada’s Solidarity Mission to Israel, as stated below.

 Responsibilities and Commitment from all participants to join

All participants must arrive in Israel no later than Monday, May 27, at 3 pm. All participants must have a valid passport with an expiration date after November 15, 2024. Due to the mission's nature and duration, it is recommended that all participants stay with the group for the entire mission. 

 

Travel Warnings

You further attest that you are a United States citizen. You understand and acknowledge that you are traveling to an active conflict zone. You acknowledge that you have read and understand the contents of the current “Travel Warning” issued by the U. S. Department of State to American citizens on the general security environment in Israel, including Jerusalem, the West Bank, and the Gaza Strip and the threats to U.S. interests in those locations. You acknowledge that the current Travel Warning is subject to change at any time by the Department of State and your agreement to this Disclaimer, Release and Indemnification will remain in full force and effect in the event of any changes to the Travel Warning. Despite the Travel Warning, and the dangers it warns of, you are participating in this Trip because you have made a conscious decision to do so.  You understand that most travel companies are not providing trip insurance due to the current travel warning.

 

Liability of the Jewish Nevada

You hereby acknowledge that Jewish Nevada, its Boards of Directors, officers, agents, employees, and representatives, and all individuals and organizations that provide financial support directly or indirectly to Jewish Nevada shall not be liable or responsible for any loss or damage (including death) which you may sustain to your person or property. It is understood and agreed that Jewish Nevada assumes no responsibility whatsoever and shall not be held responsible for the operation and management of any facilities that may be employed in connection with the Solidarity Mission to Israel nor for any damage or claim arising therefrom or in connection therewith.  

 

Cancelations and Refunds 

You attest to the policy written on our website at the time of application that cancelations can be made for a 75% refund no later than May 1, 2024. Jewish Nevada understands the situation in Israel is fluid. Should the mission be canceled by Jewish Nevada, refunds will be provided less transaction fees that may be incurred depending on your original payment method. Jewish Nevada has the right to hold a portion of funds due to costs incurred at the time of cancelation. Please see below for the complete payment terms and refund schedule.

 

Consultation with Physician

You attest that you have consulted a physician of your own choice and have been advised by said physician that you are in good health and do not suffer from any physical or mental ailment or disability, which would make your travel and/or participation on the Trip to Israel hazardous, unwise, unwarranted or a potential source of danger to you or to others you may travel with or participate with on the Jewish Nevada Solidarity Mission to Israel.  All participants are responsible for arranging medical insurance on their own behalf.

 

Itinerary

You hereby agree that all published Itineraries are subject to change. Jewish Nevada has the right to make full adjustments to itineraries based on the availability of speakers and the safety of all participants.

 

Pre and Post Mission

In the event you decide to start and/or extend your stay in Israel before and/or beyond the term of the Trip you acknowledge that Jewish Nevada assumes no responsibility whatsoever, and shall not be held responsible, for your actions and safety during such time.   

 

Understanding of Waiver

Declaration: Having read this waiver and knowing these facts and in consideration of your participation, I, for myself, my heirs, assigns, and anyone entitled to act on my behalf, waive and release Jewish Nevada, its Boards of Governors, officers, agents, employees and representatives, and all individuals and organizations that provide financial support directly or indirectly to Jewish Nevada and all their agents, representatives and successors from all claims and liabilities of any kind arising out of my participation in this program even though that liability may arise out of negligence or carelessness on the part of persons named in this waiver.  

 

By typing your name below, you hereby acknowledge that you have read and understood this waiver and permission agreement and agree to be bound by its terms and conditions.  

 

Declaration:  

I HEREBY AGREE AND ACKNOWLEDGE THAT I HAVE READ AND UNDERSTAND THIS WAIVER, RELEASE AGREEMENT, AND AGREE TO BE BOUND BY ITS TERMS AND CONDITIONS. 


Payment Terms

Deposit
  • A $2,000 per person deposit is required upon registration.

  • The deposit is 75% refundable until May 1, 2024.

 

Remaining Payments

  • 100% of the outstanding balance is due on May 13, 2024.

 

Cancellations

  • Until Wednesday, May 1, 2024, there is a $500 per-person charge for cancellations.

  • From May 2, 2024 through May 12, 2024, there is a $3,000 per-person charge for cancellations.

  • No refunds will be made after May 12, 2024. 


Insurance Information

Jewish Nevada does not currently, and will not in the future, provide any medical insurance coverage while on the mission. Any insurance coverage must be purchased for the mission on your own.


Jewish Nevada does not provide trip cancellation insurance for mission participants and any coverage must be purchased for the mission on your own.


Note: Jewish Nevada strongly recommends that all mission participants review their personal insurance coverage needs with their insurance advisors to determine if additional travel insurance is required. Additional travel insurance could cover items such as reimbursement for trip delay, missed connections, sickness and/or accident medical expenses, lost baggage, personal effects, baggage delay, etc.


  • A $2,000 per person deposit is required upon registration.
    The deposit is 75% refundable until Wednesday, May 1, 2024.

  • Select if you need hotel accommodation for the night of May 26

  • Select this option if you need the full night's stay at Kempinski
